Amanda Valero, 38, of Verdunville, WV departed her life on February 8th, 2024, at her residence from a sudden illness.
Amanda was born on November 6th, 1985, the daughter of Rhonda and Manuel Valero. Preceding her in death is her daughter Addalynn Johnson and her maternal grandmother Hazel Adkins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of fourteen years, Edward Lee Johnson, her two sons Austin and Asher Johnson, and her daughter Addasin Johnson all of Verdunville, WV; mother and father Rhonda and Emmanuel Valero; sisters Tonya Sabo and Mercedes Flores; brothers Buster Valero and Eddie Kolota; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; all of whom will miss her dearly.
Amanda was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family with all her heart. She was an employee at LRMC for two years where she was in housekeeping, playing a major role in the health and safety of the patients. Amanda cherished her time with her family, and spent all of her free time with her husband and children. From warm summer days, to cold winters, she always came up with fun creative activities to do with her family. Now it brings her family some comfort to know Amanda is resting with her baby girl.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Akers-James Funeral from 2-4 p.m. Honoring her wishes she will be cremated following the services.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Akers-James Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
