Andrew Jackson Perry

 Andrew Jackson Perry, passed away December 20, 2024, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lafe and Venetisha Perry; brothers, Estel Ray, Lafe Jr “Junebug”, and James “Jimbo”; sisters, Janith Browning and Grace Perry.

Andrew was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an Army Veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Andrew was a coal miner for over 20 years and he loved spending time with his family, especially the love of his life. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joan (Butcher) Perry; daughter, Stephanie McMillen; son, Andrew (Scott) Perry; grandchildren, Tyler Jackson Perry, Emily McMillen, Harold Trey McMillen III, Andrew Gavyn (Bridgette) Perry, and Hannah (Tyler) Perry; great-grandchildren, Andrew Blake Perry, Kenley Fowler, Fletcher Fowler, and Abel Perry; siblings, Sadie Browning, Larry (Marie) Perry, Brenda Jenelos, Glen (Judy) Perry, and Teresa (Clifton) Porter, and a host of nieces, nephews, and so many special friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the Trace Church of God. Burial with military rites will follow in the family cemetery on his farm. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of the service, also at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Jackson Perry, Trey McMillen, and Andrew Gavyn Perry.
