Ann Drake Vickers

Ann Drake Vickers, 99 of Logan, went home to be with her Lord on April 8, 2024, at CAMC Hospice. 

Ann was born on April 12, 1925, to the late Opie French and Delpha Nester Drake. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. (Edgie) Vickers; great-grandson, Lucas Drake Lyons of Charleston; three brothers, Oather Drake of Monaville, Q.T and B.H. Drake of Wilmington, DE. and two sisters, Lola Walls of Stollings and Jessie Acord of Wilmington, De. 
 

Retired as a bookkeeper for the City of Logan, Ann was a lifelong member of the Nighbert Methodist Church.
 

Ann is survived by her daughter Debra Vickers Marsh of Charleston and son, Michael E. Vickers of Logan as well as by her best friend and granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Carson and great-grandson Lennox also of Charleston. She leaves behind a host of beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and two special sisters-in-law, Peggy Vickers of Logan, and Darlene McCoy of Barboursville.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Nighbert Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. Bruce Reed officiating. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. 
 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Nighbert Memorial Methodist Church of Logan.
