Betty Baisden

Betty Baisden, 80 of Dingess, WV went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 10th, 2025 at her home.

She was born December 13, 1944 to the late Belva and Dorothy Bryant. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Philip Baisden; sisters, Joyce Hensley and Geneive Workman; brothers, Ronald Bryant, David Bryant, and Jimmy Bryant; and son-in-law, James Meade.

Betty was a member of the Mount Hope Freewill Baptist Church at Dingess. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and she loved her family dearly. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Sherry (Mark) Porter, William Baisden, and Susie Meade; grandchildren, Alexander Philip Baisden, Kyle Porter, and Garrett (Sheena) Meade; special sister, Cheryl (Carlos) Lackey; brother, Taylor (Libby) Bryant; special niece, Kathy Marcum, and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Cornerstone Christian Center at Dingess. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2025 also at the church. 

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
