Betty Jo Browning passed away peacefully at home January 4, 2021. She was born August 26, 1935 to the late Truehart Cooper and Hazel Elkins. Betty is predeceased by her sisters, Pam Browning and Linda Hall and her brothers Jerry McAllister and Dean Elkins. She is survived by the love of her life, James Arnold Browning and children, Richard (Terri) Browning, Mike (Sandy) Browning, Sandy Browning Bowen, and Steve (Mimi) Browning. Additional survivors include her grandchildren, Jimmy Browning and April Browning, Melissa Browning and Brandon Browning, Jennifer Bowen Soto and Brittany Bowen Wright, Stevie Browning and Scotty Browning and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters Judy Dunevant, Cherry Perry and Robin Hicks and brother Terry McAllister. Betty’s love was for her family and her faith as a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was an avid supporter and cheerleader of her kids and grandkids in all their sports activities and would not miss their basketball, baseball, or softball games. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and service information will be updated when available.
