Betty Jo Salisbury Summers

Betty Jo Salisbury Summers of Man, WV went to her heavenly home October 27th, 2018; leaving from the Genesis Health Care Center surrounded by family and friends. She was born April 5th, 1932 to the late Dewey and Sally McKinney Salisbury of Harold, KY. Also preceding her in death were five brothers: Aster, Charlie, Jim, Jack, and Earl, four sisters: Hazel Salisbury (Joe) Keathley, Jeannette Salisbury (Ronald) Vance, Atchie Salisbury, and Dolly Salisbury (Fred) Farnell, her husband of sixty-six years and the love of her life, Harold Summers, and a daughter Brenda Summers. Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters: Barbara (Bruce) Belcher, Connie (Mike) Robinson, four grandchildren: Kenneth Stafford, Melissa (Richard) Maynor, Shawn Belcher, Brian (Crystal) Robinson, four great-grandchildren: Briana and Christian Stafford, Devin, Christopher, and Kaleb Robinson. Visitation will be Monday, October 29th, 2018 at 11 am and funeral services at 1 pm at Akers-James Funeral Home in West Logan, WV with Reverend Stephen Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Richard Maynor, Brian, Christopher, and Devin Robinson, Christian and Kenneth Stafford.
