Billy Ray Damron

Billy Ray Damron, 63 of Holden passed away Thursday December 17, 2015 at his residence. He was born November 25, 1952 in Logan the son of the late Massie Damron Sr. and Lura Nelson. Mr. Damron was a retired Staff Sargent of the U.S. Air Force having served for 20 years and a member of the VFW DAV in Henlawson. Those left to cherish his memory include:his wife Julia Loy Damron; his daughter Anethea (Jay) Nemechek; sons Billy Ray Damron Jr., Justin Scott Damron, William Tyler Damron, and step-son Michael (Jessica) Valenzuela. His brothers: Fred Damron, Grady Damron, Massie (Polly) Damron Jr., Ricky Damron, Tommy (Loretta) Damron and Lonnie Damron. His sisters: Theresa McKinnon and Doris Michacoff. Four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday December 23, 2015 at James Funeral Home in Logan with Rev. John Godby officiating. Immediately following the services a Military Rites ceremony will be held also at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the services.
