Bobbie Irene Likens, 79 of Dingess, WV gained her beautiful angel wings Tuesday June 4, 2019 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born November 18, 1939 at Ethel, WV to the late Esther York and Roy (Nelson) Withrow. She was preceded in death by her parents Esther and Hurl Vance and Roy (Nelson) Withrow. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Benjamin Orville Trickler and Paul David Queen; and 1 sister, Amelia Pack.
Bobbie was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy that her grandfather Isaac York built. She loved going to church, reading her bible, sitting on her porch swinging and spending time with her family.
She is survived by: 4 daughters, Margie Sartin, Doris Trickler, Linda Trickler Gibson all of Dingess, WV, and Brenda (Donald) of Gilbert, WV; 2 sisters, Violet Thompson and Marchellia Vance both of Dingess, WV; 1 brother, Samuel Vance of Dingess, WV; grandchildren, Jamie Copley, Joey Stevens, Carmellia (Art) Meade, John (Tab) Fleming, Chris (Katosha) Noe, Sammeley (Zachary) Queen, and Gena (Justin) Gillman; great-grandchildren, Marcy Sparks, Tamara Vance, Jeremy Sartin, Joanna, Mary Elizabeth Stevens, Jordan Colegrove, Jayleena Meade, Annabella Meade, Kolton Noe, Karter Noe, Benjamin Gillman, Joseph Gillman, Lyndsey Gillman, and Baby Queen due in August; great-great-grandchildren, Camilee Grace Colegrove, Gabriella Sparks, Alexis, Dominic, and Isabella.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday June 7, 2019 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan with Larry Curry and Riley Hager officiating. Burial will follow in the York Family Cemetery at Dingess.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Colegrove, John Fleming, Art Meade, Donald Noe, Zack Queen, Jeremy Satin, and Clayton Vance.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
