Brenda Maynard

Brenda (George) Brewster Maynard 58 of Logan went to heaven to be with the Lord on Thursday September 11, 2008 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born August 3, 1950 at Omar. Brenda was born to the late Easter Newsome Day and the late Claude Bryant George Sr. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her Daughter: Tammy Sue Brewster, and her father, One Brother: Hobert Day Sr. and One Sister: Belvia Blankenship. She was a loving Mother, Wife, homemaker and a dear friend to many. She was a follower of the Fundamental Christian Church of Varney and Oneness Pentecostal Faith. Survivors include her son: Thomas E. Brewster Jr. and husband Mark Maynard, Two Brothers: Clyde (Kay) Akers of Holden and Billy George of Logan, Three Sisters: Betty (Bill) Carter of Mill Creek, Linda (Leslie) Evans of Logan and Donetta (Roosevelt) Allen of Logan. She has 22 Special nieces and nephews, a special place for chihuahua Lexie and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday September 15, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jay West officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at James Fujneral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will include: Josh Allen, Roger Workman, Ronnie Toler, Donald Blankenship Jr. and Matthew Caretr.
