Carolyn Spaulding

Carolyn Sue (Workman) Spaulding, 69, of Verdunville passed away March 28,

2022. She was born July 29, 1952, the daughter of Elbert and Vivian Irene (Justice)

Workman. She lived in the Verdunville area all her life. Carolyn was a faithful

member of the Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church. She was a godly woman who

cared for everyone and loved her family and her church family very much. She

married Jimmy Dale Spaulding December 20, 1969, and he preceded her in death

on March 24, 2000.

Survivors include one sister Loretta (Workman) Sargent; two sons - Ricky Dale

Spaulding and Kevin (Amber) Spaulding; grandchildren - Brittney, Kevin Allen,

Jace and Dakota; great grandchildren - Draylan, Axdan, Zane and a host

of nieces and nephews and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse Jimmy Dale, and siblings -

Lawrence, Delores Norman, Mary Ramsey, Donald, Ed, Shelia Lackey, Jimmy,

Sam (Alan) and a host of extended family, friends and loved ones.

Services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Akers James Funeral Home.

Visitation 11-1 followed immediately at 1. Burial will follow at Frye Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church, PO Box 586 Verdunville, WV 25649
