Charlie Likens

Charlie Likens, 82, of Dingess passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at home. Born November 30, 1932 at Dingess, he was the son of the late Joe and Luddie York Likens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: MaCager Likens, James Likens, and Ransome Likens. Those left to cherish his memory include two brothers: Robert (Maxine) Likens with whom it made his home and Jessie Likens, both of Dingess; two sisters: Betty Parker of Linden, Tennessee and Eloise (Clifford) Wilson of Dingess; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of life will be conducted on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Dingess with Rev. Darrell Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at the Meade Cemetery in Dingess. Friends may call at the church after 6 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015.
