Clara Rice

Clara Rice, 98, of Logan Park Nursing Home went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Thursday June 14, 2007. She was born February 8, 1909 a daughter of the late Aaron and Melvinia Williamson. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Hobart, one daughter, Beulah Gilbert and one son, Hobart Rice Jr. Those left to cherishe her memory include one son, Aaron and Minnie Rice of Verdunville, one daughter, Earnestine Tomblin of Powhatan,Va. Ten grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday June 16, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at the James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Hughes and Rev. Homer Sipple officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Cemetery in Huntington, WV. Visitation will begin Saturday June 16, 2007 at 9:30 A.M. at James Funeral Home.
