Clifford Burgess

Clifford J. Burgess, 83, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Sunday July 1, 2007 in Columbus. He was born May 20, 1924 to the late Roman and Carrie Baisden Burgess. He was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Company and a W.W.II Veteran, Kamikaze Survivor and a USN lifetime member of the American Legion Post 331, VFW Post 1055 of Ravenna, Ohio. Survivors include his daughters; Hollye (Rick) Pratt of Columbus, OH., Terry Lynn Burgess of Montgomery, WV. His son, James C. Nespey and brother, Shelby Burgess both of Cleveland, OH. His grandchildren; Jennifer Mastenbrook, Jessica Parker, Lesley Lindsey, Anderson Burgess, Brandy Burgess and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday July 5, 2007 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday July 6, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Blair Methodist Church with Rev. Elmer Nelson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Cemetery at Kelley Hollow in Blair. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Condolences may be left at www.jamesfh.com.
