Corine Adkins

Corine Adkins 76 of Dingess passed away Wednesday September 30, 2009 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born January 8, 1933 in Lincoln County. She was the daughter of the late Lon and Mary Vance Meeks. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Leonard Adkins, two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include three sons Richard (Regina) Adkins and Dallas (Gladys) Adkins both of Dingess and Larry (Joanna) Adkins of Harts, one daughter Mary (Thomas) of Dingess, two brothers Dallas (Cheryl) of Harts and Wandle (Judy) of Verdunville, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday October 3, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frankie Frye officiating. Burial will follow at Vance Cemetery at Copley Trace on East Fork of Twelve Pole. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Friday October 2, 2009 at James Funeral Home.
