Crystal Jo Frye, 39 of Yolyn, WV gained her wings February 16, 2019 at her residence.
She was born August 22, 1979 at Logan, WV to Norma Kay (Hipshire) and Jerry Frye.
Crystal Jo was a homemaker. She loved riding four wheelers, being in the mountains, spending time with her two boys, family, and friends. She loved music and dancing, Crystal Jo always had a smile on her face and had a heart of gold.
She was preceded in death by: her brother, Jerry âBubâ Frye Jr.; grandparents, Donna Hipshire Curry, Lee Hipshire, Don Curry, Mary Browning, Woodrow Frye, and Carl Browning; uncles, Harry Hipshire, Mark Dowden, David Masters, and Michael Paul Frye; aunt, Linda Hipshire; cousins, Charlie Hipshire, Markie Dowden, and William David Frye II (Trey); the father of her boys, Michael Russel, and his mother Karen Skidmore.
In addition to her parents she is also survived by: her 2 boys, Ronnie Frye and Michael Russell; brother, Brandon (Angel) Frye; nieces, Jaida Frye, Lilly Frye, Addison Vance, and Aaliyah Frye; nephew, Ryder Keith Frye that she loved with all her heart; her best friend for over 20 years, Shannon (Sargent) Jeffery; aunts and uncles, Barbara and Wendell Ooten, Ronnie and Connie Hipshire, Shannon and Tammy Hipshire, Lisa and Larry Ellison, Janice and Bill Bumgarner, Anita Masters, Laccie and Randy Miller, Bruce Frye, Allice and Bill Frye, Kenny and Anna Frye, who loved her dearly and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday February 22, 2019 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Rev. Rocky Chafin officiating. Burial will follow in the Chamber Cemetery at Rum Creek.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Akers-James Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
