Dale George Vance

Dale George Vance, 68, of Breeden, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Logan Regional Medical Center He was born on December 10, 1945 and was the son of the late Ersel Tony Vance and Bertha Ruth Romans Vance. Dale was a retired bus driver for the Mingo County School system. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Buddy Vance. Those left to cherish his memory are three daughters: Edra Hodge of Columbus, Ohio, April Ramey of Genoa, WV, and Priscilla Vance of Breeden, WV, three brothers: Ersel (Brenda) Vance of Dingess, Lonnie Marcum of Alabama, and Robert (Judy) Maynard of Ohio, four sisters: Tammy (Malcolm) Meade of Logan, Terry (John) Payne and Beatrice (Faye) Vance both of Dingess, and Betty (Art) Mills of Ohio, 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Cornerstone Christian Center in Dingess, WV with Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Vance Cemetery. Friends may call at 3 P.M. on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Cornerstone Christian Center. James Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
