Danny Joe Street

Danny Joe Street, 68, of Logan, WV, passed away on August 21, 2023, peacefully at home after a long illness.

He was born in Logan, WV, on April 26, 1955, son of the late Everett Street Jr. and Barbara (Senator) Street. He is survived by his daughter, Jeannie Street, and his grandchildren Alera and Elijah Messer. He is also survived by his ex-wife and best friend Kathy (Stevens) Street, their dog Coco, many special friends, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Rebecca Marcum, his maternal grandparents Arkie and Margaret Senator, paternal grandparents Everett and Laurie B. (Nimmie) Street.

Danny graduated from Bellflower High School in Bellflower, CA, in 1972 and worked as a Contractor by profession, and was known to be a “hard working man.” He was a successful Property Manager and a respected business owner.

He was a talented musician and loved music. He was a very talented guitarist and also showed skill in playing many other instruments including piano, banjo, and harmonica. He was a Godly man who loved The Lord (and his church) and playing music to serve Him.

He was a motorcycle enthusiast who loved to ride his motorcycle, spend time with family and friends. Danny is described by those who loved him as being “funny, caring, and kind-hearted.”

At Danny’s request, the family will not be hosting a memorial service.
