Mrs. Delores "Faye" Browning Mullins Young 75 of Mud Fork departed this life and went to be with her heavenly home on Sunday February 21, 2010 at Trinity Health Care Services at Henlawson.
She was born September 29, 1934 at Dempsey Branch, she was the youngest daughter of the late Ace and Chloe Williamson Browning. In addition to her parents Faye was preceded in death by her first husband William (Billy) Virgil Mullins, sisters Irene, Sally, Geneva and Pauline and brothers Charles, Burnie, Henry, William, George, Glen and Eugene.
Faye was a member of the Verdunville Church of God. She enjoyed her time as a homemaker after being a long time employee of Doler Jarvis in Toledo, Ohio.
She loved spending time with her familyand friends and entertained them on many occasions with stories of her childhood.
Faye leaves behind her loving husband of 10 wonderful years Clarence E. Young of Mud Fork, 3 daughters whom she loved dearly and was proud of their accomplishments Anita (Tim) Gale of Nashville, Tenn., Janet Mruk of Toledo, Ohio and Sherri (Michael) Jump of Chicago, Illinois, 2 stepsons Keith Young of Orlando, Fla. and Kevin (Teresa) Young of Henlawson.
3 brothers Bob (Pat) Browning of Wilkinson, Rev. Roy (Martha) Browning of Sylvester and Fred (Kathyrn) Browning of Big Fork, Montana.
Grandchildren Jennifer Cartwright, Billy Mullins, Susan Mruk, Rebeckah Meyer, Diana Drews and Ricky Baker, 3 step grandchildren Shiloh, Ray and Sarah Young.
Faye was the great grandmother to 13 children and a loving aunt to a host of nieces and nephews who thought of her as a second mom. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her including special friends Myrtle Eden, Pauline Adams and Dr. Scott and Nancy Siegel with whom she shared many adventures.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday February 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Hartwell officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Wednesday February 24, 2010 at James Funeral Home.
