Dix Hinman

Dix N. Hinman 91 of McConnell, WV passed away Monday July 9, 2007 at Logan Regional Medical Center after a short illness. He was born February 1, 1916 in Bridgeport, Ohio he was the son of the late Harry and Estelle Woodard Hinman. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in deat by his wife of 67 years: Christena Gore Hinman and his sister: Ruth Meadows. He was owner of Croziers Drug Store in Man, WV for many years before going to work in Charleston for the Purchasing Department where he retired September 29, 1983. He was an active member of the Lions Club and First Presbyterian Church for many many years. Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters: Christine Dailey, Ruby Benson and grandson: Bryce N. Dailey of Silver Spring, Md., Sister-in-laws, Brother-in-laws, Neices, Nephews, Friends and special dog: Dee Dee. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday July 12, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill with Rev. John Godby officiating. There will also be military graveside rites.
