Donna D. Collins, 72 of Holden, WV went home to be with her Lord on August 20, 2021, at Logan Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Charles âChuckâ Collins of Rockridge, OH; her father, Don J. Dingess; mother, Bonnie Dingess; grandparents, and a special aunt, Amber Walsh.
She enjoyed her family and sitting on the porch watching hummingbirds.
She is survived by her sister and caregiver, Cathy Dingess of Holden, WV; sister, Tammy (Eddie) Kirkendoll of Chapmanville, WV; and brother, Randy (Becky) Dingess of Holden, WV. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, Levi (Amber) Jeffery, Skyler Eggers, Tanker (Tessa) Eggers, Carrie Kirkendoll, Cody (Destiny) Dingess, Briggs Dingess, Jasper Waylon Bryant, and a great-nices that expected in November, Ellianna Jeffery that she was very excited to see.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021, at Akers-James Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Light officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the services, Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tanker Eggers, Eddie Kirkendoll, Kyle Browning, and Levi Jeffery. Honorary pallbearer is Randy Dingess.
