Donny Gene Woody

Donny Gene Woody 69 of Lake, WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday August 5, 2010 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. He was born January 31, 1941 at Lake. He was the son of the late Dill and Carrie Mae Nelson Woody. Donny was a retired coal miner and was of the Baptist Faith. He attended the Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church at City View. He is survived by his loving wife Darlene Marcum Woody of Lake. He has three daughters Kera (Roger) Dorton of Chapmanville, Donna Cooper of Chapmanville and Lisa (John) Farris of Logan, five sons Kenneth Woody of Cleveland, Ohio, Donny Lee, Daniel, Michael (Christine) and Kevin all of Lake, two brothers Teddy Dill Woody and Jimmy Woody both of Lake, one sister Isabell Robinson of Lake, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his special little dog (Hannah). Funeral services will be conducted Sunday August 8, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Belcher officiating. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Saturday August 7, 2010 at James Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bill Sullins, Johnny Berry, Hubert Berry, Paul Workman, Paul Workman, Jr, Chris Dorton, Jeff Woody and Josh Woody.
