Doreen Ann Donahue

Doreen Ann Ellis Donahue 44 of Greenville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 1, 2008. She was born March 23, 1964 at Man. She was the daughter of Leonard and Patricia S. Toler Ellis of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: George and Ona Toler and Leonard and Vicie Ellis all of Davin. Doreen was a 1982 graduate of Man High School. She was a flag girl and an avid softball player. She attended SWVCC and finished her nursing degree in Cardinal Stretch College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Doreen worked as a Nurse Manager at Duke University where she loved and genuinely cared for her patients. Doreen was a devoted Mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a christian of the Baptist faith. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving Daughter: Bryanna Sue Donahue, One Sister: Teresa S. Ellis of Durham, North Carolina, Two Brothers: Leonard (Lorie) Ellis of Creedmoor, North Carolina and Christopher (Annette) Ellis of Man, One Nephew: Brandon G. Ellis of Man, many aunts, uncles and a very special friend Cheryl Dye along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Thursday April 3, 2008 at James Funeral Home with services at 7:00 P.M. with Bryan Baxter officiating. Graveside services will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
