Doris Lee McKnight

Doris Lee McKnight 64 formerly of City View passed away on Thursday March 27, 2008 at Logan Center Nursing Home of Logan after a long illness. She was born August 4, 1943 in Logan County. She was the daughter of the late Charles W. Vannatter and Lou Cindia Evans Vannatter of Shamrock. Doris L. McKnight was a former employee with Coney Island and Drenner's Roffing. In additition to her parent's she was also preceded in death by her loving and caring husband of 41 years: Thomas Lee McKnight, Four Sisters: Eunice Mae Dempsey, Helen Louise Vannatter, Pearl Thomas and Mary Alice Vannetter and One Brother: Charles W. Vannatter Jr. She is survived by her companion: Ms. Rosie, Three Sisters: B. Susie (Emory) Ross of Shamrock, Nora Jean Vannetter of Logan Center Nursing Home, Clara Bell McCoy of Trinity Health Care of Williamson, Three Brothers: Leslie J. (Martha) Vannatter of Chapmanville, Donald R. Vannatter of Verdunville and Harry G. (Brenda) Vannatter of Shamrock. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and good and loving neighbors of City View. Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 31, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. Monday March 31, 2008 at James Funeral Home.
