Easter Blankenship

Easter Vinson Blankenship 79 of Wilkinson departed this life Monday June 8, 2009 at her residence. She was born March 1, 1930 at Logan. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Pearl Brown Vinson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Howard Blankenship, One Son and One Granddaughter Arthur Blankenship and Shawna Mendel and One Grandson Billy Lee McComas of Michigan. Mrs. Blankenship was a homemaker. Those left to cherisher her memory include Six Daughters Patty Marcum and companion John of Mud Fork, Billy and Larry McComas of Michigan, Carolyn and Rev. Randy Shell of Crooked Creek, Ruth and Randy Caserta of Braeholm, Brenda and Bobby Mendel of Palmer Ave. Logan, Marie and Glen Lambert of Wilkinson, One Son Richard Blankenship of Stollings, One Brother Max Vinson of Chapmanville, 15 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday June 11, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Church of the Living God at Stollings with Rev. Bobby Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday June 10, 2009 at the church. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
