Effie White

Effie Lovejoy White, 91 of Crooked Creek departed this life on January 19, 2021 to her heavenly home. She was born December 18, 1929 in Lincoln County, WV. Effie was preceded in death by her husband, Roy White, and one son, Phillip “P.W.” White. Survivors include two sons, Bill (Sharon) White of Whitman, WV, Curtis (Sarah) White of Crooked Creek, WV; two daughters, Judy (Doug) Ball of Middleburg, WV, Kathy “K.J.” White of Peach Creek, WV; eight grandchildren, Melissa White of Whitman, WV, Vanessa Williams of Conover, NC, Billy (Katelynn) White Jr. of Whitman, WV, Jessica (Jimmy) Gibson of Middleburg, WV, Kim (Tommy) Scaggs of Charleston, WV, Tina (Chris) White of Charleston, WV, Curtis (Sarah) White II of Mitchell Heights, WV, Michael “Pike” (Cindy) White of Peach Creek, WV; 22 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Crooked Creek Church of Christ with Evangelist Ralph Perry and Rev. Johnny Faine officiating. Burial will follow in the Upper McDonald Cemetery at Crooked Creek. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the church. Pallbearers will be Billy White Jr., Curtis White II, Michael “Pike” White, Dominic White, Cardale Baisden, and Steve Baisden.
