Emma Jean Southers

Emma Jean (Conley) Souther, 80, of Holden went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. She was born March 3, 1927 in Borderland, WV to the late John and Laura Evans Webb. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wetzel Sherdian Conley. Her second husband, Earmel Harley Southers Jr. and three brothers and one sister. Emma attended the 5 & 6 Holden Freewill Baptist Church and was a wonderful wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by one daughter and two sons, Linda Jean Hineman of Huntington, John Ed Conley of Logan and Randy Earl Conley also of Logan. One sister, Alieen Bradley of Harrodsburg, KY. Other survivors inlcude several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, October 13, 2007 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Condolences may be left at www.jamesfh.com.
