Ethel Hensley

Ethel Hensley, 94 of Holden departed this life Saturday March 4 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born October 23, 1922 at Twelve Pole to the late Roy Mullins and Sally Adkins Mullins Spence. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: her husband, Garfield Hensley; her daughter, Madeline Noland; son, Dallas Hensley; brothers, Brady Mullins and Fayette Mullins; sister, Edith Herklotz; and half-sister, Eloise Conley. Ethel was a member of Central United Baptist Church. Those left to cherish her memory include: her son, Jerry Hensley of VA; daughters, Freda Hensley and Janice Johnson; half-brother, James Spence; half-sister, Goldie Erskine; sister-in-law, Brenda Moore Hensley; 3 grandchildren, Garth (Caroline) Hensley, John (Adriana) Vance, April Hensley; and 1 great-grandchild, Elisa Vance. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday March 9 at Akers-James Funeral Home in Logan. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
