Eula Jean Brewer, 61, of Gaylesville, Alabama went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on June 16, 2007. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church of Gaylesville, Alabama. She was born October 27, 1945 to the late Jessie Brewer and Mary Ellen Johnson Brewer. Also preceding her in death was her special step-father, Arland Ray. She was also preceded in death by three brothers; Virgil Brewer, Rev. Richard Brewer and Orville Robinette. Three sisters; Anna May McCoy, Vada Slone and Edith Winters. Two grandsons; Lonnie Harold and John Amos Newsome. Two granddaughters; Kathleen and Josephine Marcum. She is survived by her husband, Clayton Cooper of Gaylesville, Alabama. Three daughters; Deloris Jean (John B.) Marcum Jr. of Dingess, Betty Ellen "Pick" (Mike) Newsome of Gaylesville, Alabama and Tammy Faye (David) Gilman of Duncan Fork. Also surviving her is three grandsons; Michael (Nikki) Newsome, Leroy (Heather) Newsome and David Gilman. Four granddaughters; Tina (David) Reynolds, Danelle (Jimmy) Jordan, Carolann (Seth) Caudill and Rachelle Gilman. Three great-granddaughters; Katelyn Reynolds, Kaley Newsome and Chelsea Jordan. Three great-grandsons; Javin Newsome, Taylor and Luke Reynolds. She is also survived by her sister, Jenny White and her brother, Paris Robinette. Other survivors include a host of nieces, nephews and many many friends. Our mother was a gift from God and we also thank the Lord for every day that we had with our mother. We look forward to being with her again in Heaven. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday June 19, 2007 at the Lilly of the Valley Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday June 20, 2007 with Rev. Larry Light officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery at Laurel Creek.
