Eula Isaacs

Eula Pesimer Topeka Isaacs departed this life Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Trinity Health Care Services of Logan.

She was born April 4, 1938, at Stirrat, WV to the late Thomas Elmer and Thelma Blair Pesimer Vannatter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Topeka Jr; her second husband, Ray Isaacs; her stepfather, Mirel Vannatter; brothers, Thomas Pesimer, Doug Pesimer, John Pesimer, and Daniel Pesimer; sisters, Goldie Cooke, and Edith Darlington; and her favorite pets, Tippy, Bee Bee, and Bingy.

Eula was saved and was a member of the Pine Creek FWB Church for 6 years.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Lavenna (Robert) Blevins of Omar, WV, Brenda (Stephen) Maynard of Rossmore, WV, Judy (Elbert) Vance of Logan, WV, and Trina (Larry) Adams of Chapmanville, WV; sons, James Ray Topeka of Barboursville, WV, and Ted (Sandy) Topeka of Sara Ann, WV; brothers, Eugene (Tammy) Vannatter of Huntington, WV, and Dave (Sherry) Vannatter of Brentwood, TN. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at Akers-James Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service, Friday at the funeral home.
