Forrest L. (Bo) Williams, 74 of Verdunville, WV, peacefully passed away on January 29, 2018. He was born on March 26th, 1943 in Russell County, VA to the late Jonah (Doc) and Hersey (Culbertson) Williams. He was preceded in death by his siblings Robert, Guy and, sister Shelby Baisden (Bill).
Bo was a veteran of The U.S. Army and displayed a great sense of patriotism for his country. He was retired from Amherst Coal and spent many hours working on televisions and appliances. Bo was known throughout the community as the self-proclaimed âMaytag Repairmanâ and was always willing to offer his services to someone in need.
He is survived by his five children, Debbie, Brian, Steve (Brandy), Zack and Chelsea; eight grandchildren, Morgan, Madi, Allison, Nathaniel, Evan, Landyn, Alyssa and Nathan; six brothers and sisters, Beatrice Nelson (Edward), Gay Damron, Peggy Elkins (Ben), Ann Starr, Tommy (Marie) and Brenda Salyers (Curt); close friend, Glenna Spriggs and former spouse and friend, Alice Williams; and an abundance of cherished family and friends.
A celebration of his life will commence at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan, WV on Friday, February 2nd, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., immediately followed with a service officiated by Reverend Agie Bryant.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Legion Post 19, 69 Water Street, Logan, WV 25601.
