Freda Hiroskey

Freda Hiroskey, 84 of Verdunville, WV departed this life Sunday December 16, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, WV. She was born November 18, 1934 to the late Sidney and Norma Adams Conley. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: her son, John Anthony Hiroskey; 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. Freda worked in finance for 47 years and attended Faith Baptist Temple at Stollings, WV. She is survived by: her son, Greg (Gina) Hiroskey; brothers, Raymond (Jean) Conley and Ted Conley; sisters, Sadie Denitto and Iva Baker; grandchildren, Gregory Shane Hiroskey, Sydney Phillips, and Anthony Hiroskey; daughter-in-law, Tammy Hiroskey, ex daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Hiroskey; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday December 21, 2018 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Rev. Barney Goins & Pastor Shane Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Conley Cemetery at Verdunville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday also at the funeral home.
