Harleen Mullins, 80 of Dingess, WV went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at her home surrounded by those she loved.
Harleen was born October 1, 1939 at Verdunville, WV to the late Woodrow and Roxie Marcum. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her children, Brenda Mullins, Gregory Paul Mullins, and a child lost by miscarriage; her twin borther, Eugene Marcum; father and mother-in-law, Carlos and Delcie Mullins. She was a loving mother and Nana. Harleen had served the Lord since 1966 and she was a faithful member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church at Dingess, WV.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Paul Dean Mullins; daughter, Tammy (Bryant) Smith; grandchildren, Zachary Dingess, Kobe Smith, and Savannah Smith; great-grandson, Jarren Paul Dingess; sister, Rosalie Baisden; sisters-in-law, Peggy (French) Burke and Opal Meeks; and a host of family and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to those who helped give loving care, Heaven Blankenship, Veronica Blankenship, Memory Dingess, Debbie Lee, and Dawn Mullins. Also, for the doctors and nurses of Dignity Hospice, we would like to express our thanks for taking excellent care and being there for our family. We truly appreciate everyoneâs prayers during this time.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan with Pastor Sid Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery at Dingess. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Zach Dingess, Kobe Smith, Jarred Vance, Richman Vance, Ace Maynard, and Robert Vance.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic and the CDCâs guidelines for large gatherings only 25 people will be allowed in the facility at one time. Please plan your visit accordingly as you may be asked to wait before entering the building. Face coverings are also recommended when inside the building and social distancing should be taken into consideration. If anyone is unable to attend, the services will be live streamed via the link on our website www.jamesfh.com. Online condolences may also be left on our website.
