Harrison Cox

Harrison Larue Cox 65 of Logan passed away Tuesday November 17, 2009 at his home. He was born April 22, 1943 in Logan. He was the son of the late Thurston and Clara Kiser Cox of Monaville. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters Juanita Protuck and Kathy Cox and one brother Harlan Cox. He was also a 1961 graduate of Logan High School and SWVCTC. Survivors include his wife: Phyllis Gilman Cox, his children Peggy Jones, Harrison (Bob) Cox Jr., Kim Mitchell and Tammy Preece. One Brother Raymond H. Cox and One Sister Jane Cox. Grandchildren: Michael Jones, Kendra Jones, James Jones, Brandon Cox, Tara Mitchell, Skylar Mitchell, Logan Preece, Rylei Hall and 3 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews and close friends Howard (Rusty) Booth, Don Muncy and Kenny Cox. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Thursday November 19, 2009 at James Funeral Home Chapel with services beginning at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Layton Lockhart officiating. Military service will be at 8:00 P.M. The body will be cremated.
