Helen T. Browning

Helen T. Browning 85 of Dempsey Branch went home to be with her heavenly father on Saturday January 10, 2009. She was born June 15, 1923 at Whitman. She was the daughter of the late Roy E. and Fannie Mae Marcum Zornes. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Evin Browning, One Son Bobby Ray Collier, brother Roy Paul Zornes, sisters Audrey Williamson, Sona Mae Frazier, Betty J. Hall and Glenna L. Adkins. She was a homemaker. Loving Mother of JoAnn Adkins of Cleveland, Ohio, Andrew Biel, Additional Survivors include One Brother Claude (Evelyn) Zornes of Dempsey Branch, Stepchildren Vivian Gibson and Jerry Browning both of Dempsey Branch, Artzel Browning of Monitor, 7 Grandchildren Kimlery Browning of Ohio Robert V. Browning of Parma, Ohio, Matthew C. Browning of Ohio, Brian Collier and Bobby Collier Jr. both of Chapmanville, James Eric Collier of Georgia and Cody Lee Collier, 20 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday January 13, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
