Imogene White,79, of Verdunville passed away Sunday June 17, 2007 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born December 18, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Florence Dempsey. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Sammie White Sr., one son, Rex O'Dell Sr. Her brothers; Jack and Ray Dempsey. Sisters; Pearl Workman, Ruby Puckett, Della Meade and Missel Loggins. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her children; Bonnie Whitley of Cynthiana, Ky., Pearl Dingess of Columbus, Ohio, Sandra White of Lexington, Ky., Ronnie White Sr., Dana White, Sammie White Jr., and Ronald "Pete" White all of Verdunville. She is also survived by three granddaughters and three grandsons and Rodney Fields. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Also a special thanks to her caregiver Pat Sheppard who went above and beyond her duties. Also the Adams family and numerous friends too many to mention, but weall considered family.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday June 20, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Elbert Collins Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the White Family Cemetery at Verdunville. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church on Tuesday June 19, 2007.
