Iris Gail Copley, 65 of Dingess, WV departed this life Wednesday March 13, 2019 at Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center at South Williamson, KY.
She was born January 15, 1954 at Logan, WV to the late Emil Kinser and Icie Fannin. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: her brother, Glen Ray Browning; and sister, Nyoka Jean Akers.
Gail was a forever loving and loyal wife. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She was also a very dedicated sister, aunt, and friend. She was always willing to give or lend a helping hand. Above all she was a God-fearing woman and loved and trusted the Lord with all her heart. When Gail was physically able she enjoyed Jeep riding with her âHoneyâ, golfing, bowling, and playing cards with family and friends. She will be greatly missed and forever loved by all that knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband, Jimmy Copley; son, Bo (Lauren) Copley of Ragland, WV; daughters, Veronica Lynn (Charles) Griffin of Roanoke, VA and Michelle Renee Graham; brothers, Billy A. (Gerlinda) Browning of Louisiana, Jeanuel (Theresa) Browning of South Carolina, and Jackie Ray Browning of Indiana; sisters, Georgia Pauline Carter of Ohio, Janice Lee (Ballard) Smith of Logan, WV, Wanda Lynn Perkins of Ohio, and Debbie (Ira) Copley of Dingess, WV; 5 grandchildren, Chandler, Abigail, Elliott, Charlotte, and Merritt.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday March 16, 2019 at the Cornerstone Christian Center at Dingess, WV with Rev. Lonnie Gore Jr. and Robbie May officiating. Burial will follow in the Deskins-Conn Family Cemetery at Dingess.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday also at the church.
