Jacqueline (Jackie) Johnson McGraw, 75, of Cheboygan, Michigan (formally of Logan, West Virginia) entered into her heavenly home on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Jackie was born in Mt. Gay, WV on December 24, 1945 to the late Delbert (Dee) and Beatrice (Bea) Johnson. Also, preceding her in death were her brothers Jesse Ghent and Roger Johnson, along with her fur babies Skipper and Snickers. She was succeeded in death by her son, Steven Lambert (10-1-2021).
Jackie was a member of Victory Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Jackie could light up a room with her bright personality and contagious laughter. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to others and worked as a nurse for almost 30 years at Logan General Hospital doing exactly that.
Jackie is survived by her brother Donald (Linda) Johnson; daughter Kimberely (Tom) Orr of Culloden, WV; 3 grandchildren Frank (Angie) Bartram of Ona, WV, Kylie Lambert and Keegan Lambert of Spring Arbor, MI; 2 great grandchildren Logan Bartram and Lexi Bartram; 2 sons, not by blood, but by love Mike and CJ Lambert, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jackie will be missed greatly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A combined visitation with her son (Steve) will be held at Akers-James Funeral Home, Logan, WV October 7, 2021 6pm-9pm.
A combined service will be at 2pm October 8, 2021 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Pastor Rocky Chafin officiating followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Akers-James Funeral Home.
