James Floyd Conley

James Floyd Conley, 68 of East Fork of 12 Pole departed this life on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital at Charleston, WV. Born March 1, 1952, he was the son of the late Moss and Dora Baisden Conley. In addition to his parents and grandparents he was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Willard “Buddy” Conley, Moss Conley Jr., and Boyd Conley; 3 sisters, Lola Conley, Irene Stidham, and Anna Rose Jarrells. Jimmy was a 1970 graduate of Lenore High School. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid CB Radio person, known as “Moonshiner” for many years. He also spent time with his friends and never met a stranger anywhere he went. He would do anything he could to help everyone. Jimmy is survived by his brothers, Charles David (Barbara Sue) Conley, Paul Conley, and Lynal Conley; sisters, Ruth McCloud, Blanche Jewett, Carolyn Sue Copley, and Janice Meade; special nephew, Lonnie David Conley, and several other nieces, nephews, and special friends he loved like brothers. The family would like to thank Dr. Radha, Dr. Marzouk, Dr. Sheik, and their staffs, and Select Specialty Hospital and staff for the loving care they gave. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Baisden-Conley Cemetery at the East Fork of 12 Pole, DIngess, WV with Pastor Jeremy Thompson officiating.
