James Earles, 85 of Stollings passed away Monday November 16, 2015 at the Oakridge Center in Charleston, WV. Born February 4, 1930 in Roanoke Rapids, NC he was the son of the late Lydia McClanahan Ball.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his step father Lawrence Ball.
Mr. Earles was a coal miner and business owner he was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Logan, the Aracoma Lodge #99 and the Shriners Club.
Survivors include: his wife Betty Earles, his son Greg (Faye) Earles, his grandsons who were the love of his life Aaron Earles and Barry Earles and great grandchildren Gabe, Jackson, and Amelia Earles.
Services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday November 18, 2015 at James Funeral Home in Aracoma with Rev. Rex Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Godby.
Pallbearers will be Pete and Michael Manuel.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Logan.
