James T. Mills

James T. Mills Jr. 87 of Logan passed away Monday March 17, 2008 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born April 1, 1920 at Aracoma. He was the son of the late James T. and Lena Gaylock Mills Sr. He was the owner of Mills Sign Service for over 50 years. He was also a WWII veteran in the 101st Airborne Division and a Purple Heart Recipient. Survivors include his wife of 67 years: Ethel Mills, Three Children: Craig (Donna) Mills of West Logan, Sharron (Mike) Mills Napier of West Logan and Shelia (John) Mills Douglas of Kentucky, 6 Grandchildren: Steven and Brandi Mills, Jamie (Janet) Napier, Kristen Napier, Joshua (Christa) Nichols, Melanie Nichols, 5 Great Garndchildren: Joshua Nichols, Ethan May, Roman Nichols, Lazarus Nichols and Summer Napier. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday March 20, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Calvin Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens with Military Graveside services. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M. Wednesday March 19, 2008 at James Funeral Home.
