James White

James D. “Buddy” White Jr., 66 of Logan departed this life Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born December 9, 1954 at Logan, WV to the late James White Sr. and Lucy Mae (Hendricks) White. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, George White Sr. Buddy worked construction for over 30 years. He was a kindhearted person to those who knew him. Growing up Buddy was always the “cool uncle” to all his nieces and nephews. One thing Buddy would always say to people was “peace and love”. Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Betty (Jerry) Doss of Chapmanville, and Darlene (Danny Ray) Adams of Logan, children, Buddy Nottingham of Logan, Christopher White of Indianapolis, IN, and Tonya Sloan of Logan. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Church of the Lord of Host, 85 Mathis Addition Rd Mt. Gay, WV 25637.
