Janet Hicks

Janet Hicks 68 of Logan passed away Wednesday June 4, 2008 at the Arbors at Marietta in Marietta, Ohio. She was born January 30, 1940 at Ethel. She was the daughter of the late John and Sybil McNeely Belcher. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Warnie Hicks and Three Sisters: Irene Barrett, Mary Belcher and Betty Burgy. She was also a homemaker and a member of the Bright Star Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include Three Sons: Kenneth Hicks of Logan, Mark Hicks and Vernon Hicks both of Sunbeam, Two Brothers: Berthal of Huntington Beach, California and Kenneth of Massilion, Ohio and One Sister: Louise Elliott of Chapmanville and 4 Grandchildren: Kenneth Hicks Jr. of Aracoma, Nichole Hicks of Sunbeam, Rachael Hicks and Kayla Jeffrey both of Logan. Funeral services will be conducted Monday June 9, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. George Leese, James Vance and Roger Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Sunday June 8, 2008 at James Funeral Home. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
