Jeffrey Varney

Jeffrey Varney, 56 of Crooked Creek, WV departed this world from the comfort of his home on February 4, 2022.

He was born February 11, 1965, to the late Vernon and Anna Frances Stephens Varney.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Logan High School and Marshall University. He was a member of the Justice Christian Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Brent (Christy) Varney of Myrtle Beach, SC; aunts, Gladys Gostovigh of Rageland, KY, and Debbie Maples of Cedartown, GA. He is also survived by a host of cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Akers-James Funeral Home with Dr.  Bill McDonald officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
