JENNINGS J. SAUNDERS JR, also known as Junior, 70, of Holden, W.Va, departed this earth and exchanged his life down here for his angel wings, on September 7, 2020.
Junior was born December 11, 1949 to the late Ernestine Saunders and Jennings Saunders Sr. He went to join his late wife, Cassie V. Saunders, son Joe Bud, his mom, his dad, his sister Carolyn Samson, and other loved ones.
He was the best everything; best father, best brother, and the best papaw any grandchild could ask for. Junior was most at home hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, watching Mountaineer sports, and anything outdoors. He claimed he made the best âcornbread dressinâ and he was known for his Platinum singing voice. He loved his family more than life and you could not be near him without having a smile come across your face. He is now in Heaven telling his fish stories and surrounded by more deer than he ever saw on earth. We were all so blessed to have him in our lives. Fly high and enjoy your reunion with all our loved ones that have passed. We love you and will miss you deeply.
He leaves behind many loved ones; his daughter, Misty Fox, son, Matt Smith three loving brothers: Danny Saunders, Darrell Saunders, and Gary Saunders; two loving sisters, Debbie Saunders and Penny Blair, and a loved daughter in-law, Peggy Goff. He leaves behind his grandchildren: Cassie âNikiâ Rojas, Jadrian âJadeâ Saunders, Brandon âBubbyâ Rojas, Victoria âToeâ Newsome, Cassidy Smith, Zachary Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Before Junior went to be with our Heavenly Father, he met his three special great grandchildren: Gracelynn Rojas, Aiden Newsome, and Eli Newsome.
