Jerry Lee Burton

Jerry Lee Burton, 49, of Logan passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at CAMC Memorial. He was born December 7, 1958 in Logan to the late Leonard and Bonnie Gartin Burton. Surviving family members include Carrie Stollings of Logan, Gene Burton of Logan, Regina Burton Sloop Pitre of Mooresville, N.C., Jody Burton and Ginger Myers both of Mooresville, N.C. Jerry resided at 305 Holly Ave. in Logan with Bill and Carrie Stollings. He loved to work with lawnmowers, weed-eaters, bicycles and also was a big wrestling fan. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Steve Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Stump Cemetery in Wayne Co. Pallbearers will be Jason Burton, Steven Robinson, Johnny Gibson, David Rainwater, Terry Burton, Joseph Jenkins and Robert Harris. Condolences may be left at www.jamesfh.com.
