Jerry Keith âBubâ Frye II, 33, of Rum Creek, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at his home.
Born January 13, 1982 in Logan, he was the son of Jerry and Norma Kay Frye of Rum Creek. He was a disabled UMWA construction and iron worker. Bub was preceded in death by Lee Hipshire, Woodrow Frye, Carl Browning, and Donald Curry; two uncles: Harry Lee Hipshire and Michael Paul Frye; and his cousin Mark âMarkieâ Dowden.
Those left to cherish his memory include his grandmothers: Donna Curry of Switzer and Mary Browning of Ohio; daughters: Jaida Nicole Frye of the home, Lillian Grace Frye of Harts, and Addison Vance of Harts; his sister Crystal Frye and brother Brandon Frye, both of Rum Creek; a special friend, Jeremy âBoâ Whitt; two loving nephews: Ronnie Tyler Frye and Michael Ryan Russell of McConnell; a host of aunts and uncles that he loved very much; and a host of other dear family and friends that will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the James Funeral Home Chapel in Logan with Rev. Roscoe Chafin officiating. Burial will follow at Chambers Family Cemetery in Rum Creek. Bub will be carried to rest by his family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Hurston âBay Bayâ Marcum, Wendell Ooten, Grover Chambers, and Carlos Chambers. Friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday, February 28, 2015 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
