Jimmie Farmer 73 of Mill Creek (formerly of Rum Creek) passed away Sunday June 22, 2008 at his residence. Jimmie was born September 11, 1934 at Slagel, WV. He was the son of the late Hugh and Mae White Farmer. Mr. Farmer was a disabled Coal Miner. He served in the US Army, US Navy and Merchant Marines. He loved to hunt, play guitar, cooking and Ginseng. Mr. Farmer was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife: Yvonne Gay Farmer, One Daughter: Cherri (Ralph) Workman of Pecks Mill, Two Sons: Randy Branham of Pecks Mill and Jimmy Lee (Misty) Farmer of Charleston, One Sister: Aileen Pack of Harts, One Brother: Eugene (JoAnn) Farmer of Henlawson, Four Grandchildren: Joshua Woorkman of Pecks Mill, Jennifer Branham of Charleston, Brittany Branham (Tommy) Norman of Harts and Timmy Branham of Germany, One Great Grandchild: Jorden Kane Quick of Charleston, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday June 29, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Cooke officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Saturday June 28, 2008 at James Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include Sons, Grandsons and family members. Honorary pallbearers will include William Reagan and Bill Lowe, Sr. Condolences may be sent to www.jamesfh.com James Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
