Joann Williamson

Joann Williamson, age 69, of Logan, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2024. 

Born on October 2, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Russel Marcum and Armenda (Ralph) Miller. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Roger Williamson, one sister, Stella (Richard) Hager, and two brothers, Leonard (Cathy) Marcum and Raymond (Patty) Marcum. 

Joann enjoyed attending and sharing the Love of God at Bradshaw house of prayer. She loved spending time with her family, as well as her church family and her “Golden Girls”. Throughout her life, she was always active in church and tried to put a smile on everyone’s face. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Leslie (Jimmy) Overby, of Ferrellsburg, and Danny (Amanda) Williamson, of Winfield, as well as four grandchildren, Hannah (Jason) Stowers, Logan Hunter, Braxton, and Paetyn Williamson, and one great grandson, Eric Stowers. She leaves behind 3 brothers, Russel Marcum, of Logan, James (Patty) Marcum, of Chapmanville, and Mike (Jody) Marcum, of West Logan, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 27, 2024 at Akers-James Funeral Home in Logan. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with service following at 1pm.Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Manuel.
