Joe Grubb

Joe Grubb, 77, of Dingess departed this life Friday, January 2, 2009 at his residence. He was born October 1, 1931 in Bradshaw a son of the late Cecil and Nell Armstrong Grubb. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters June Harlow and Jackie Grubb Dingess. Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served his country in the Korean Conflict. He was also a retired licensed land surveyor and a member of the Maryetta United Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Patricia Damron Grubb. His children Paul (Terri) Grubb, Donella Grubb and Adam Grubb. Grandchildren Katie Grubb, Kelli Grubb and Charles Adam (A.J.) Grubb. Sister Joy (Howard) Workman, Brothers Ronnie (Regina) Grubb and Charles (Polly) Grubb. Services will be held Tuesday January 6, 2009 at 2:00 P.M.at the Cornerstone Church in Dingess with the Rev. Lonnie Gore officiating. Burial will follow at the Paul Dingess Cemetery. Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Monday at the church where special services will be held at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev.
