John Isaac Hawkins

John Isaac Hawkins 19 of Holden departed this life to be with the Lord after a long illness on Friday December 12, 2008 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born August 26, 1989 in Logan. He was the son of Vanessa (David) Bartarm of Holden and Michael Hawkins of Man. He was a member of the Church of the Living God at Stollings. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Emanuel Hawkins and Frank Bartram, his grandparents: Vonnie and Newcome Bryant and Net (Maw) Bartram and one uncle Scottie Bryant. Survivors include: One Brother: Jeremiah Hawkins of Holden, Three Stepbrothers: Chris Bartram of Lenore, Brian Baisden of Mud Fork and Noah Hawkins of Whitman and One Step sister: Shanda Copley of Holden, his grandparents: Phyllis Fields of Lenore and Donna and Vernon Hawkins of Godby Heights. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Two very dear friends Zach Donahoe and Tiffany Workman and his aide Debbie Harrison. Funeral services will be conducted Monday December 15, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Church of the Living God at Stollings with Rev. Jerry Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryant Cemetery at Brown's Run. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Sunday December 14, 2008 at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Zach Donahoe and Tarvis Adkins. He was graetly loved by and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
